Delta Adds 50A Eighth-Brick Module

Delta Electronics Inc. has introduced the E48SH, a 50A eighth-brick converter, as the latest addition to their Delphi Series of board mounted dc-dc converters.

The E48SH, 48V input, single output, isolated, dc-dc converter, delivers up to 50A of output current or 120W of power in an industry standard footprint and pin out.The Delphi E48SH converter operatesfrom an input voltage of 36V to 75V and is available in output voltages from 1.0V to 15V. Typical efficiencyfor this module with a 12V/10A output is 93.5%.

With optimized component placement, creative design topologies and patented technologies, Delta claims that the E48SH converter delivers not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but has industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost for our customer's space constrained and cost-sensitive applications.

This converter comes complete with a package of industry-standard features to insure that it will reliably perform in the harshest environments and all modules are fully protected against abnormal input/output voltage, current, and temperature conditions.

Sample quantities of Delta's Delphi E48SH converters are now available. In OEM quantities of 1000 pieces, the unit price is US$41. Standard lead-time for this product is from stock to 8 weeks, depending on the output and volume.
