United Technologies in Fuel Cell Deal with Nissan

UTC Fuel Cells (South Windsor, CT), a unit of United Technologies Corp. (Hartford, CT), announced that it has signed agreements with Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. (Japan) to develop fuel cells and fuel cell components for vehicles. Renault SA (France), Nissan's alliance partner, is also participating in the development projects.

UTC Fuel Cells will provide fuel cell power plants to Nissan for evaluation. In addition, UTC Fuel Cells, Nissan and Renault will work to develop components for fuel cell vehicles.
