Sanyo to Make Solar Battery Panels in Mexico

Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. (Allendale, NJ) announced that it will start producing solar battery panels in Mexico from next summer to meet growing demand in the US. Sanyo said it aims to reduce distribution and personnel costs by exporting the panels to the US from Mexico.
