Zetex Inc. (Hauppauge, NY) introduced the ZXFV302 multi-plexer chip, which provides a bandwidth of 240MHz and a slew rate of 450V/µs, and serves a range of video and other high-speed, signal-switching applications. The ZXFV302 is for use with 400pF loads, and features a stability and high output-current capability of 40mA. Low differential gain and phase distortion are a feature at 0.01 percent and 0.04 degrees, respectively.
Presented in a 16-pin, surface-mount package, the IC needs a ±5V supply and a supply current of 15mA. The ZXFV302 is priced at $2.54 each in 1,000-piece quantities. Delivery is in four to six weeks in production volumes.
