Maxon Motor Announced the EC Series of Brushless Motors

Maxon Motor AG (Germany) announced the new EC Series of brushless, electronically commutated motors. The pancake-shaped motors in the EC Series weigh 15g and have a 0.79in diameter. They are 0.39in long, with a continuous output power of 1.5W. The maximum speed is 12,000rpm.

Ambient temperature for the motors is from -40 to +100 degrees C. The motors are offered with hall effect sensors as an option.
