Martek Power Intros 1000XFR Series DC-DC Converters

Martek Power (Los Angeles, CA), a manufacturer of telecommunications and military power supplies, introduced its new 1000XFR Series of high-density, fully isolated, dc-dc converters, which measure 1.25 in x 0.8 in x 0.4 in. The 1000XFR Series of low-profile dc-dc converters feature a rated power of 10 W; precisely regulated single outputs of 2.5 V, 3.3 V, 5 V, and 12 V; and efficiency up to 87 percent. The 1000XFR Series is available in 24 Vdc and 48 Vdc inputs with a two-to-one input range.

The 1000XFR Series provides short-circuit protection, a mean time between failure of one million hours, and is compliant with EN55022 Class A requirements. Combined with the wide 40 °C to +60 °C operating temperature range, a high power density of 25 W/in³ (1.53 mW/mm³), and 1,500 Vdc isolation, the converters are suitable for data communications equipment, mobile battery-driven equipment, distributed power systems, telecommunications equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, process/machine control equipment, computer peripheral systems, and industrial robot systems.

The 1000XFR Series is priced at $28 per unit for volume orders. Lead time is stock to eight weeks ARO.
