Electronics Mfg. Offers Model 51000 Rectifier

New Products Apr 18, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Electronics Mfg. (Semmes, AL) introduced its Model 51000, which is rated at 24kV PIV at 2.5A with 300fpm airflow, and is used in dc pulse blocking and snubbing applications, RF power generators, radar applications, broadcast transmitters, and high-voltage power supplies.

Suitable as a replacement for epoxy-encapsulated rectifiers, the 51000 incorporates a PCB that allows maximum current flow. A center tap is also integrated to the board, enabling the rectifier to function as a doubler. Two 51000 rectifiers can be joined to provide a full-wave bridge for output voltages of up to 6kV.

The 51000 rectifier is available in either off-the-shelf packages or custom assembled to customer requirements, and is priced starting at $250.
