Delta Introduces New Eighth Brick Into Delphi Series Of Board Mounted DC-DC Power Converters

Delta Electronics, Inc. has introduced the latest addition to their Delphi Series of board mounted dc-dc power converters, the E48SC 3.3V, 15 and 25A, eighth brick converter.

The E48SC3R3, a 48V input, 3.3V output, isolated dc-dc converter, delivers 15 and 25A of output current or up to 83W in an industry standard footprint and pinout together with an extremely attractive price point.

According to Delta, with optimized component placement, creative design topology and patented technologies, the E48SC3R3 converter delivers not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but has industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost for space constrained and cost-sensitive applications.

Delta states that its Delphi Series E48SC3R3 converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features to insure that this unit will reliably perform in the harshest environments, such as remote sense, remote on/off, output trim, and full protection with UVLO, OCP, OVP, OTP. These units also carry a full set of international safety approvals, including EN60950-1, UL/cUL60950-1 as well as CE markings, which meets 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC directives.
