Chinasound Electronics Co. Ltd. (Changzhou, China) announced its new CET16Z Series of electromagnetic transducers, which measure 16mm(ø) x 14mm and produce a sound output >80dB, making the transducers suitable for use in communications and office equipment, toys, automobiles, and home appliances.

The transducers are available in operating voltages of 1V to 2V, 4V to 8V and 9V to 15V. The CET16Z1 model draws a maximum of 12mA, while the CET16Z2 and CET6Z3 versions draw 40mA. Coil impedance is placed between 80 ohms and 200 ohms, while resonant frequency is at 2.046kHz. All models operate from –25 to +70 degrees C.
