Analog Devices Inc. (ADI, Wilmington, MA) introduced its new AD9444 14-bit, 80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter that offers a high spurious-free dynamic range. The first in a family optimized to improve and simplify the design of advanced third-generation and next-generation fourth-generation wireless base stations, the AD9444 provides a typical SNR of 73.1 dB and SFDR of 97 dBc with a 70 MHz input.

The AD9444 is shipping in production volume now, available in lead-free, 100-lead, thin-quad flat pack exposed paddle packages, and priced at $38.25 per unit in 1,000-unit quantities.
