1W/2W DC-DCs in SIP-7 Package Feature Higher I/O Isolation
Traco Power announced the release of the new TBA family of 1W & 2W dc-dc converters in the industry standard SIP-7 package.
The company specifically designed the TBA family to offer a low-cost solution without compromising on quality and lifetime. Enhanced features include integrated short circuit protection, higher I/O isolation, and an extended temperature range. The TBA / SIP-7 family consists of three platforms: 1W TBA-1E with 1500Vdc isolation; 1W TBA- 1HI with 3000Vdc isolation; and 2W TBA-2 models with 1500Vdc isolation.
With basic I/O isolation of circuits for a broad range of low power applications, these 1W & 2W converters are suitable for applications where low cost, enhanced performance, and space are critical.
TBA family serves as drop-in replacements for older, existing 1W to 2W SIP-7 products in the market.
They have inputs of 3.3Vdc/5Vdc/12Vdc/and 24Vdc (±10% range), and their single outputs of 5Vout/9Vout/12Vout/15Vout (semi-regulated). The family also delivers dual outputs of ±5Vout/±12Vout/±15Vout.
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to + 85°C at full load, the robust converters boast an MTBF of >2 million hours. All models are manufactured to meet UL 62368-1 / EN60950-1 safety standard and the company backs the family with its 3-Year-Warranty.
