Trimol Group Announces Fuel Cell Technology Patent

Trimol Group Inc. (New York, NY) announced the issuance of a US patent protecting the intellectual property rights to an aluminum-air fuel cell technology licensed to it by its majority shareholder, Aluminum-Power Inc. (Canada), for use in portable consumer electronics. The patent, entitled Ecologically Clean, Mechanically Rechargeable, Air-Metal Current Source, was issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office on March 12, 2002.

"This patent strengthens the protection of our proprietary aluminum-air fuel cell technology, which is designed to provide an environmentally responsible, emission-free power source ideal for use in a variety of electric products, devices and systems such as those licensed to Trimol Group for portable consumer electronics," stated Alexander Gordin, president and CEO of Trimol Group.
