SynQor (Boxborough, MA) opened a new sales office in Shanghai, China on July 1st 2005. The local office will provide sales, product marketing, customer service and field application support. The SynQor office is expected to contribute to more efficient communication channels and quicker response times to the company's growing list of customers located in the northern and eastern regions of China.
"Our presence in Shanghai will allow us to make sure our business model and product development direction are more closely aligned with the region's requirements and expectations," said Stone Sun, SynQor's China Country Manager.
With the addition of the Shanghai office, SynQor now has a total of five offices in the Asia Pacific region. The other SynQor sales offices are located in Shenzhen, China, Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan and Singapore (Asia Pacific Headquarters).
"We are extremely pleased to have a new sales office in Shanghai, and we firmly believe it will help us better serve our customers in the northern and eastern regions of China," Sun stated. "Additionally, we are very excited that Alan Yuan, has joined SynQor and will be the Sales Manager for our Shanghai office. Mr. Yuan, has many years of regional experience, both in sales and technical support in the power industry."
Since opening the office in Shenzhen, China in 2003, SynQor has seen its China power business grow significantly and sees even more potential to expand its market share. SynQor's customer base in China continues to grow in terms of number of customers as well number of applications. Market segments include many platforms within telecom such as such high-end Ethernet switchers and routers, DSL and wireless networks.
