SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG Raises €15 Million

SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG has raised €15 million in equity capital from several European institutional investors. Founded in 2000, SFC AG has successfully pursued the development and commercialization of innovative off-grid energy supply solutions based on methanol powered fuel cells (DMFC, Direct Methanol Fuel Cells).

The proceeds from the current funding round will enable us to take our organization to the next level. Already today, our products provide reliable power for numerous applications worldwide where there is no power grid available. Together with our new investors, we are looking forward to rapidly expanding in our target markets and further driving the strong growth of the company", said SFC Managing Director Dr. Jens Mueller.
