Saft (France), a manufacturer of specialized batteries for industrial and defense applications, announced the appointment of David Roller as Director of Defense Sales. Roller will be responsible for supporting the sales and business development objectives of the Saft Space and Defense Division. He will focus on lithium-ion cell technology and batteries for specialty defense applications. Recently, Roller developed large lithium-ion cells for underwater vehicle applications.
"David brings 15 years of experience in the military battery industry," said Saft Corporate Communications Manager Patrick McDevitt. "He has a great deal of knowledge within the space and defense industries; we are pleased to welcome David to the Saft team."
