RWE SCHOTT Solar Inc. (RSS, Rocklin, CA), a manufacturer and distributor of solar-electric modules and systems, announced the promotion of Marc Roper to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In addition to overseeing the company's sales operations, Marc will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's strategic marketing initiatives in the North and South American markets.
"Marc has done a fine job as our director of sales since joining the company in early 2003, managing and leading the restructuring of our sales department following the merger of RWE Solar with SCHOTT Applied Power," said Alexander Berg, president and chief executive officer for RSS. "We're pleased to have him join the management team."
