Manhattan Scientifics Receives US Army Contract for Fuel Cell Power Source

Manhattan Scientifics Inc. (Los Alamos, NM) has received a contract from the US Army to design and build a fuel cell power source to be used in an Army test program on battery replacement in portable communications equipment. The fuel cell will be based on Manhattan's proprietary mid- range power technology (2kW to 3kW) developed by the company's NovArs unit in Passau, Germany.
