Jeong Kim Joins MTI Microfuel Cells BOD

MTI MicroFuel Cells Inc. (Albany, NY), a subsidiary of Mechanical Technology Inc. (Albany, NY), announced that Jeong Kim has joined its board of directors. Kim currently serves as a professor at the Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland. Kim founded Yurie Systems in 1992, and served as Chairman and CEO until its acquisition by Lucent Technologies in 1998.

"Dr. Kim is a highly accomplished executive with experience in taking a new technology and turning it into a highly successful company," said Dale Church, chairman and CEO of Mechanical Technology and chairman of the MTI Micro board. "He will be a tremendous help to us as we shape the growth of MTI Micro."
