GM's HydroGen3 Sets New Fuel Cell Distance Record

General Motors Corp. (GM, Detroit, MI) reported that its HydroGen3 fuel cell vehicle is near the halfway point for breaking the distance record for fuel cell technology, traveling a total distance of 3,400 miles as the minivan arrived in Darmstadt, Germany, on May 24, 2004. The journey began May 3, 2004, in Hammerfest, Norway, and will end June 11, 2004, in Lisbon, Portugal, some 6,200 miles and 14 countries later.
