David Nord Appointed Vice President Controller of UTC

David G. Nord was recently named the vice president controller for the United Technologies Corp. (UTC, Hartford, CT). He will report to CFO David FitzPatrick. Nord has been UTC's acting controller since November 1999. He joined UTC in 1996 as assistant controller, performing financial reporting and accounting.Before joining UTC, Nord had been a corporate controller at the Pittston Co. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Hartford in 1979, and is a certified public accountant.
