Celestica Completes Acquisition of VXI Electronics

Celestica Inc. (Toronto) recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of VXI Electronics (Portland, OR), a power conversion products provider and designer and manufacturer of voltage regulator modules (VRMs) and custom power supplies. VXI will be operating under the name Celestica Oregon. According to Celestica, VXI is a valuable addition to Celestica's power business, because of its extensive design and manufacturing capability, customer base and products. "The acquisition of VXI expands Celestica's customer base and enhances our power systems product and service offering," said Eugene Polistuk, president and CEO of Celestica.
