Amkor Technology Inc. (Chandler, AZ) announced that President and CEO Bruce Freyman has resigned. Freyman had been promoted to the positions of President and COO in January from his previous job at Amkor as executive vice president of operations. At that time, the company created the "office of the chairman" and promoted John Boruch into the role of vice chairman from his former position as president and COO.
Amkor did not indicate any reasons behind Freyman's departure. With Freyman's resignation, Boruch will immediately resume the roles of president and COO.
