Batt-Tek Consulting (Cortland, OH) announced its new "Development of the Fuel Cell" CD-ROM database for the fuel cell industry, which offers more than 2,900 US fuel cell patents in an easy-to-use format. Patents issued between January 1976 and December 2003 are available in a sortable MS-Excel format. The fuel cell database is an essential tool for everyone involved in the application or development of fuel cells.
The new single-source database includes patent issue dates, patent numbers (hot-linked to the full-text patent), fuel cell types, primary patent focus, secondary patent focus, and assignee companies. Each patent has been categorized by fuel cell type and technical focus by industry expert Dr. George Brilmyer. The fuel cell data can be instantly sorted to highlight the criteria. Any or all combinations are possible with six fuel cell types and 20 areas of technical focus.
