Active-Semi Names Larry Blackledge, Former TI Analog VP & General Manager, As CEO
Active-Semi announced that Larry Blackledge has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding CEO and Founder Steven Huynh, who will continue as Chief Technology Officer. Active-Semi is a supplier of advanced power management solutions. Founded in 2004, Active-Semi has shipped over 500 million analog semiconductors with what the company describes as groundbreaking power management technology and state of the art Green Power ac-dc converter intellectual property.
Before joining Active-Semi, Blackledge spent over 20 years with Texas Instruments in managerial positions, including a five-year tenure in Asia and as Vice President and General Manager of TI’s Custom Mixed Signal & Analog Semiconductor Business Unit.
