XPiQ Debuts JPS130 Series AC/DC Switching Supplies
XPiQ Inc. (Holliston, MA) announced its new line of low-cost, low-power, high-density, ac/dc power supplies in a 3in x 5in format, the JPS130 Series, which are suitable for network, telecom and industrial systems where a small footprint, low 1U profile, high density and power-factor correction are required. The new power supplies provide 130W in a compact, industry-standard package that measures 3in x 5in x 1.28in.
The JPS130 Series features eight models with single- or triple-output voltages. True universal input accepts input voltages of 90Vac to 264Vac (47Hz to 63Hz) or 127Vdc to 370Vdc. Output-voltage selections include 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc, 15Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc. Triple-output, standard configurations include 3.3V, 5V, +12V and 5V, +12V, and -12V.
The supplies offer zero minimum load (main output), over-voltage and over-current protection, remote-sense, low output ripple, and tight line and load regulation. Input-to-output isolation is greater than 3,000Vac for safety-agency requirements. The supplies carry worldwide safety-agency approvals from UL, cUL and TÜV and conducted EMI limits per EN55022 and FCC Level B. The supplies also meet the EN61000-3-2 standard for input-current harmonics and carry the CE mark for LVD.
Pricing for the JPS130 Series for 1,000-piece quantities ranges from $62 (single-output) to $84 (triple-output). Prototype quantities are available from stock, and standard production lead time is eight weeks.
