Xantrex Introduces Three Phase Solar Inverter Product Line
Xantrex Technology Inc. has introduced its three phase solar inverter product line. The Xantrex three phase product line includes the new Xantrex GT100 and GT250 Grid Tie Solar Inverters, with output power levels of 100 and 250kW respectively.
Xantrex states that its inverters efficiently convert raw dc energy from solar arrays into high quality ac electricity. The GT100 and GT250 are said to offer the highest California Energy Commission (CEC) efficiency in their class, to have an integrated design that is simple to install, and scalability to meet multi-megawatt commercial and utility requirements.
Xantrex has also begun to preview what it describes as its innovative three phase GT30, currently in development. This is said to be a highly efficient inverter solution that is estimated at 96% CEC efficiency and weighs less than 200lbs, allowing it to be wall-mounted (said to be a first for an inverter of this power level).
