Wall Industries Intros JF Series DC-DC Converters

Wall Industries Inc. (Exeter NH) introduced its new JF Series of dc-dc converters, which are suitable for applications such as telecom and other low-profile requirements, networking, and industrial controls. The new converters have input ranges of 18 Vdc to 36 Vdc or 36 Vdc to 75 Vdc, and provide single outputs of 3.3 Vdc, 5 Vdc, 12 Vdc, or 15 Vdc, and deliver up to 15 W of power with efficiencies upwards of 88 percent.

The JF Series uses open PCB construction. The PC board mounting is accomplished either via through-hole or surface-mount. Compact with a low profile, the JF Series measures 1.10 in x 0.94 in x 0.335 in, and includes remote on/off, ±10 percent output trim, ±1 percent voltage accuracy, 0.2 percent line load regulation, 2,250 Vdc input to output isolation, -40 °C to +85 °C operating range, short-circuit protection with auto recovery, output load protection, no minimum load requirements, and a mean time between failure of 8.1 x 105 hours.
