Wall Industries Intros BE Series DC/DC Converters

Wall Industries Inc. (Exeter NH) announced a new line of "open-frame" PC board mount, one-eighth-brick format, dc/dc converters. The BE Series offers input ranges of 36Vin to 75Vin and 18Vin to 36Vin and single outputs of 5Vout, 3.3Vout, 2.5Vout, 2Vout, 1.8Vout, 1.5Vout and 1.2Vout. The devices are in the industry-standard size of 2.3in x 0.90in x 0.42in and industry-standard pin-out assignment. The converters offer the user up to 66W of output power.

The converters are UL94-VO rated and have features that include tight line/load regulation, high efficiency up to 91%, operating temp from -40°C to +85°C ambient, no heatsink operation, remote sense, output trim, remote on/off with negative or positive logic, etc.

The BE Series is priced at $59 to $75 depending on OEM quantities and model type.
