Wall Industries Debuts LPQ Series DC/DC Converters

Wall Industries Inc. (Exeter, NH) announced its new line of low-profile, high-efficiency, quarter-brick-size, dc/dc converters. The LPQ Series has 35Vin to 75Vin; outputs of 5Vout, 3.3Vout, 2.5Vout, 2Vout, 1.8Vout and 1.5Vout; and delivers 10A for applications that do not require very high power. The 3.3Vout converter has an efficiency rating of 91 percent and the 5Vout is typically 93 percent.

The converters are the industry-standard, quarter size and footprint, but offer a lower profile height of only 0.450in. Features include remote on/off; ultra-tight, line/load regulation; continious short-circuit protection; low-profile, single-board construction; low output noise; thermal shutdown; and remote sense.

The LPQ Series is priced at $48.50 in OEM quantities.
