Vishay Intros Four Additions to IHLP Family Inductors

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (Malvern, PA) announced four new additions to the IHLP family of low-profile, surface-mount inductors, which now includes standard inductance values ranging from 0.10 µH to 10.0 µH with typical DCR values as low as 0.47 miiliohm, saturation currents from 15.5 A to 120 A, and low losses at frequencies up to 5 MHz. Target IHLP applications include dc-to-dc conversion and energy storage in end products such as computers, servers, telecom systems and automotive electronics.

The devices provide inductance values of 5.6 µH, 6.8 µH, 8.2 µH and 10 µH with a tolerance of ±20%. The patented IHLP Series offers higher-performing, power- and space-efficient inductor solutions that measure 0.508 in x 0.520 in x 0.256 in (12.9 mm x 13.2 mm x 6.5 mm). Each inductor is packaged in a self-shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels while meeting military specifications for resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration.

All inductors in the IHLP family are 100% lead-free and meet RoHS standards. Samples and production quantities of the new IHLP-5050FD-01 inductors are available now. Lead time for production quantities is seven weeks. Pricing for US delivery only in 10,000-piece quantities starts at $0.80.
