V-Infinity Adds SIP Converters That Offer Wide Inputs

V-Infinity announced that it has added 1 and 2W dc-dc converters that are designed to take up less space on the pc board while offering a 2:1 input range. The RoHS compliant units are offered in a fully encapsulated 8-Pin SIP package measuring 0.87" x 0.47" x 0.37."

With efficiencies as high as 82%, the VWRAS and VWRBS series are able to operate at full load from -40 to 71°C. The units are capable of operating up to 85°C at 60% load. Available input voltages ranges include 4.5 to 9V, 9 to 18V, 18 to 36V, and 36 to 72V. The single output VWRBS series delivers regulated output voltages of 5, 9, 12, and 15V while the dual output VWRAS series delivers regulated output voltages of +/-5, +/-9, +/-12, and +/-15V. Features include I/O isolation of 1,500Vdc and short circuit protection. OEM pricing starts as low as $6.40 per unit.
