UNIPOWER 1RU GMT Fuse Panel Is Totally Front Accessible

New Products Nov 18, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

UNIPOWER Telecom announced that its latest distribution panel series is designed for users who need, or prefer, front panel connections. The DPGF1U Series provides distribution and overload protection for 6 or 12 circuits and the 1U high unit can be mounted in either a 19 or 23" rack.

The GMT fuse panels provide up to six single-bus fuses or 12 dual-bus (A&B) fuses with a capacity of 80A of load current per bus. As a result, the DPGF1U can distribute up to a total of 160A with true A & B distribution and alarm functions. Fuse sizes from 0.5 to 20A can be accommodated.

Both sections of the dual-bus distribution panel are isolated and can be separately configured to operate from 12, 24 or 48V, positive or negative ground. Fuse alarm is indicated by a red LED for each bus and two Form C relay contacts per load. To allow the new distribution panel to be aligned with other rack-mounted equipment, the DPGF1U can be mounted from the front of the rack, with offsets every quarter-inch from front to back.

All models meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1, CSA22.2 No. 60950-1 and EN60950-1. The DPGF1U Series units are RoHS compliant.

Panels are available to ship from stock in small quantities and pricing for a single sided panel is $275.
