Tyco Electronics Unveils AUSTIN 24 Vin LYNX Series
Tyco Electronics Power Systems Inc. (Dallas, TX) unveiled its new AUSTIN 24 Vin LYNX Series of point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters, which are designed to support the power needs of industrial and control applications. The AXB050X43-SR model of the AUSTIN 24Vin LYNX Series is targeted for 24 Vdc input applications with a 50 W constant power deliverable. It supports an input-voltage range of 20 Vdc to 30 Vdc, with a programmable output range of 5 Vdc to 15 Vdc using an external resistor.
The AXB030X43-SR model of the series produces a constant power of 30 W, supporting 18 Vdc to 30 Vdc input voltage, with an output range of 3 Vdc to 6Vdc. Both models are equipped with remote sense, positive logic on/off control, pre-bias immunity, monotonic startup, and over-current and over-temperature protection.
The AUSTIN 24Vin LYNX converter is offered in SMT packaging and measures 1.30 in x 0.53 in x 0.326 in (33.0 mm x 13.5 mm x 8.28 mm). Its construction is able to withstand industry-standard handling, cleaning and soldering processes. The converter can be operated under temperatures ranging from -40 °F to +185 °F (-40 °C to +85 °C).
Pricing of the AUSTIN 24Vin LYNX converter starts at $13.78 each in a quantity of 1,000 units.
