Turck Debuts Additions to High Temperature Sensors

March 20, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Turck Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) introduced three new additions to its line of line of high temperature sensors, which range up to 160°C (+320°F) and include devices up to +100°C (+212°F) in metal barrels; 12mm sensors up to +120°C (+248°F); and sensors up to 160°C (+320°F).

The brass barrel sensors are available as three-wire dc 12mm, 18mm and 30mm sensors in flush or no-flush versions. The 12mm, 18mm and 30mm sensor is now available for temperatures up to +120°C (+248°F). In order to fulfill the demand for sensors subject to even higher temperatures, the company now offers 18mm and 30mm barrel sensors for +160°C (+320°F), which feature an integrated amplifier and are more widely applicable then devices with an external amplifier.
