Total Power Unveils MIW4000 Series DC Converters

Total Power International Inc. (Lowell, MA) announced its new MIW4000 Series of 5W to 6W, single- and dual-output, dc/dc converters that feature a 4:1 input range, efficiency of up to 86 percent, short-circuit protection, SMT technology, and 1,500Vdc I/O isolation in a 1.25in x 0.8in x 0.4in case.

The MIW4000 weighs 17g, has a six-side shielded case with a non-conductive base, offers a mean time between failure of >1,000,000 hours, and complies with EN55022 Class A EMI safety standards. The new MIW4000 unit has a 1,000-piece price of $19.33.
