TDI Introduces Dynamic 1U Power Center

TDI Power introduced their ultra-compact 1U Power Center, which is said to provide reliable -54V power, rated up to 1,000W all within one rack unit. Two hot-pluggable 500W rectifiers convert 90-276Vac into dc, which is distributed through up to ten GMT fuses. A connection to an external battery has an optional circuit breaker and low voltage disconnect. The power center is monitored & controlled with TDI’s eLink75 Ethernet controller.

Designed for use with remote, outdoor cabinets, the 1U Power Center helps manage site performance by providing power and signals for flush fans, door alarms and other environmental controls. For additional network awareness, an auxiliary 12Vdc output can be used to operate an Ethernet switch with battery backup.

Additional features include: N +1 redundancy; input of 90-276Vac, 47-63 Hz; output of -54Vdc, adjustable battery breaker and LVD; ruggedized assemblies with full conformal coating; and UL60950, IEC60950 compliances.
