Tae Hwa Trans Co. Ltd. (South Korea) introduced its new TZ Series of isolation current transformers, which are rated from 5A to 400A and feature an accuracy of 0.2 percent. The devices also operate from 20Hz to 400Hz and are claimed to have a near-zero phase shift.
Designed for use in power measurement, power transducers and power sensors, the transformers can withstand 3.5kV for 1 minute, and four times its current rating for 1 second. The transformers are available in vertical PCB mounting and wire-lead types.
