Shindengen Announces 35A-50A/800V, SIP Bridge Diodes

Shindengen America Inc. announced the release of two Single-in-Line Bridge packages. These packages include large capacity three-phase and single-phase SIP bridge diodes. The 5-pin three phase configurations offer output currents up to 45A; the 4-pin single phase provides up to 50A of output current at 800V.

Shindengen's TSB packages replace the relatively thick cases of the horizontal mount style of bridge diode. The TSB package has efficient heat dissipation (Typical Thermal Resistance 0.5°C/W-junction to case per diode) and allows for simple heatsink mounting.

For applications with significant ambient heat or severe de-rating requirements the high capacity TSB packages reduce or eliminate the need for multiple components further conserving space. The TSB products have Sn-Bi terminals for RoHs compliance. Products are UL Certified (UL File Number: E142422). Applications include industrial equipment, high power audio and a variety of power supply applications.
