series of SMD capacitors

Evox Rifa (Lincolnshire, IL ) recently announced a new series of SMD capacitors in smaller sizes. The Series GMW and SMW are made in naked wound construction which offers smaller sizes than encapsulated capacitors. The GMW Series is made of PEN dielectric for a combination of good solder withstand and small physical size. The SMW Series is made with PPS dielectric to offer very stable properties. SMW has a normal operating temperature of 125 degrees C and may be operated up to 150 degrees C under certain conditions. The Series are offered in size 2220, with the company planning larger and smaller sizes to follow.
