RO Associates Presents QV24-3.3-35-1 Converter

RO Associates Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) announced its new QV24-3.3-35-1 high-efficiency, second-generation, quarter-brick, which features a 24V input and 3.3V at 35A with 90% efficiency. The minimal power loss performance is maintained across the load range and is complimented by advanced thermal management and packaging techniques. The combination of performance and packaging makes reliable operation at high currents possible without the use of a heatsink.

The QV24-3.3-35-1 comes in the 2.3in x 1.45in x 0.42in industry-standard package. The ultra-low parts count and better performance features like higher efficiency, faster transient response and lower ripple produces a quarter brick that costs less and is easier to use. The QuattroVerter module is available in both through-hole and surface-mount packages. The QuattroVerter modules are high-efficiency, constant-frequency, isolated, low-noise converters. The low-noise, open-frame modules include remote sense, positive and negative on/off logic options, clamping over-voltage protection, and a trim range of –20% to +10%. Additional features include current limiting, short-circuit protection and transient response. Evaluation boards are available and the modules are UL/CSA/TUV and CE compliant.

Pricing for the QV24-3.3-35-1 in single-piece quantities is $94. In 1,000-piece quantities the price is $ 74. Delivery is stock to six weeks ARO.
