Pulse Engineering Introduces New Power Inductors

Pulse Engineering Inc. (San Diego, CA) introduced a new series of low-profile, 1.8mm-high, surface-mount power inductors. Intended for use in micro-power and hand-held devices, they also feature a closed magnetic field, ensuring low EMI.

The new devices operate with inductance values of 1uH to 47uH, with saturation currents of 2.1A down to 0.31A, and dc resistance of 0.103mohm to 0.833mohm. The applicable frequency ranges from 1kHz to 2MHz. The operating temperature ranges from -20 to 85 degrees C.

The series, which consists of PA0040.102T, PA0040.222T, PA0040.472T, PA0040.103T, PA0040.153T, PA0040.223T, PA0040.333T and PA0040.473T, is available in tape-and-reel packaging. They are priced at $0.40 each in 100,000-unit quantities, or $0.50 each in lots of 10,000.
