The new CT60AM-18F from Powerex Inc. (Youngwood, PA) is a discrete IGBT targeted for use in uninterruptible power supply systems. An improved version of the CT60AM-18B, the new IGBT features faster fall time (tf), lower capacitance and lower price. The CT60AM-18F is rated at 60A at 900V.
This device is available in a TO-3PL package and features an integrated fast recovery diode, which eliminates the need for an external diode. The new IGBT was designed for resonant switching only (zero voltage or zero current).
