Power Sources Releases Ultra Miniature Encapsulated ac-dc Power Modules
Power Sources Unlimited Inc. has introduced the Tracopower™T Series of 15W and 30W encapsulated ac-dc power supply modules that are fully compliant to the RoHS Directive. Universal (85-264Vac) input, safety class II and approvals to EN60950-1 and EN60601-1 standards qualify these modules for a wide variety of space critical applications in industrial, medical or OEM equipment.
Package/mounting styles available are PCB with solder pins, chassis mount with screw terminals and a DIN rail mount adaptor kit. These ultra miniature units measure only 2.17" x 1.77" x 0.95" for the 15W PCB models and 2.99" x 2.01" x 1.10" for the 30W PCB models. An operating temperature of -25 to +50°C (without derating) high efficiency, comprehensive protection circuitry, MTBF > 250K hours and a 3-year warranty permit what the company claims should be confident use in any design.
