Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) announced the new Q2D Series, available with Power-One's One-SMarT SMT-mounting option. The two outputs of the Q2D Series can provide up to 30A of combined output current from an industry-standard, quarter-brick package.
The new converters operate from an input range of 36Vdc to 75Vdc. Models are available to provide dual outputs from 1.2Vdc to 5Vdc. Features include a lower-than-8mm profile, no minimum load requirements, Bellcore GR-513 transient-withstand requirements, remote on/off, and output-voltage trim adjust. Protection features include output over-current, output over-voltage and over-temperature.
Pricing for the Q2D Series is $88.00 each in quantities of 1,000 units. Evaluation units are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks.
