Power Gate Releases High Density 2 & 3W DC-DC Converters with Remote On/Off Control

PowerGate LLC announced the release of the Traco Power TDR Series of high-density dc-dc converters measuring only 0.74 x 0.50 x 0.35" with remote on/off capability.

The TDR series consists of 8 families of converters offering a choice between: 2 or 3W of power; 2:1 wide input range (4.5-9 / 9-18 / 18-36 / 36-75Vdc) or ultra-wide 4:1 input range (4.5-18 / 9-36 / 18-75VDC); and SMD or DIP packages. All products feature: tightly regulated single or dual outputs ranging from 5-15Vdc; 1500Vdc isolation; -40 to +85°C operating temperature; 80-84% efficiency range (typical); Remote on/off control; and cUL60950-1 safety approvals. The small size, high efficiency, and Remote on/off capability make these converters ideal for designers looking to implement energy conservation schemes.
