ON Semiconductor Announces NCP4300A IC
ON Semiconductor (Phoenix, AZ) announced a new monolithic analog IC, the NCP4300A, containing a precision 2.6V voltage reference and two operational amplifiers to address the accurate control of output voltage and current requirement. The new IC is designed to provide current and voltage control of power supplies and battery chargers. It is suitable for application in cost-sensitive applications such as charger adaptors, notebook PC adaptors and power supplies.
The NCP4300A has a typical low-input offset voltage of 0.5mV, a low-supply current of 210µA per amplifier at 5V, and a voltage reference of one percent within a range of 0 to 104 degrees C. It has a sink current capability of up to 10mA. The device is available in an SO-8 package.
Suggested price for the NCP4300A is $0.40 per 10,000 units.
