EEPower Day On Demand
In case you missed our first-ever event for power engineers, you can still catch it on demand.
On Thursday, May 2nd, EEPower brought together the brightest minds at the forefront of electrical engineering innovation to navigate the technologies shaping the energy transition, including electric vehicles; batteries and charging; renewable and non-renewable power generation; power supplies and conversion; and power FETs and ICs. While EEPower Day is now behind us, you can still catch up.

Recap—EEPower Day: Powering Tomorrow’s Energy Innovations
The day started bright and early with a spicy keynote from Legendary circuit simulation guru and QSPICE creator Mike Engelhardt of Qorvo.
Other keynotes included Vortex Bladeless’ CTO, who discussed rotorless wind turbines and the technology powering them. Xendee’s CEO brought a unique perspective to electric vehicle (EV) charging, distributed energy resources (DER), and microgrids, emphasizing the fusion of technology with financial benefits as a strategy to generate distinct value streams and integrating innovative technology with gamification to design and operate new power systems.
Infineon kicked off the live sessions with an engaging discussion about designing high-power switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) using silicon (Si), silicon-carbide (SiC), and gallium-nitride (GaN). Later in the day, they discussed how wide bandgap semiconductors enable next-gen PVs and energy storage—key to ensuring a sustainable energy supply chain and renewable energy generation.
More live sessions featured onsemi, Advanced Energy, and Texas Instruments discussing DC fast charging using SiC discrete power modules, the evolution of power system architecture, and the technology driving smart grids and microgrids.
