MCE Electronics Intros GSU-06 Series AC-DC Adapters

MCE Electronics Co. (Taiwan) recently released its GSU-06 Series of single-output ac-dc adapters that feature a power output of 6 W (maximum). Featuring short-circuit protection, the devices operate to temperatures up to 40 °C.

Rated at 100 Vac to 240 Vac, 0.2 A to 0.3 A, the adapters feature a line regulation of ±1%, a load regulation of ±5%, an insulation resistance of 50 megohms (minimum), an inrush current of 15 A (115 Vac) or 30 A (230 Vac), a withstand voltage of 3 kVac, a mean time between failure of 100,000 h (minimum), an efficiency of 65% (minimum), a leakage current of 0.25 mA (maximum), and a ripple of 1%.
