LTC Presents LT6206 Operational Amplifier

Linear Technology Corp. (LTC, Milpitas, CA) announced the new LT6206, a dual video operational amplifier featuring 100MHz gain bandwidth product and 400V/µs slew rate. The rail-to-rail amplifier is designed to operate on supplies from 2.7V to 12.6V, and has true single-supply capability with the input-voltage range extending to the negative rail. The rail-to-rail outputs swing within 60mV of either supply rail, making the LT6206 suitable for 3V operation requiring the maximum output dynamic range.

The LT6206 features a high output drive of 50mA; a low power dissipation of 20mW per amplifier on a single 5V supply; small eight-pin MSOP packaging; and a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The LT6206 is suitable for a variety of general-purpose, high-speed applications from video electronics to low-voltage, high-speed signal processing in industrial and communication systems, as well as for high-density boards or portable applications where minimum size and low power consumption are crucial.

The LT6206 is available with full specifications with a low cost of $0.97 each in 25,000-piece quantities.
