Lin Engineering Intros New 211 Bipolar Stepper

Lin Engineering Inc. (Santa Clara, CA), a leader in step motor design, announced its new compact and lightweight step motor. The 1.8° NEMA size 11 bipolar stepper is designed for flexibility in applications with limited space.

The motor measures 1.1 in² and is available in three lengths of 1.24 in, 1.75 in and 1.99 in. It provides high torque in a small package. Depending on the length, it can produce maximum holding torques of 9.2 oz-in to 16.6 oz-in. The 1.8° size 11 motor is suitable for applications in the medical, communications and semiconductor industries.
